"BUCKUP FOR A UNION BROTHER OR SISTER, SHARE AND CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER"
We have been asked to join in a community-wide Labor effort to help our union brothers and sisters and families who are out-of-work and desperately in need of financial help.
We are asking EVERY union member still working to donate $1 a month--$12 a year--to the "$5 for the Fight Fund," either monthly or in a one-time payment (or more if you can afford it). If we all buck up, we could raise over $1 million to help our brothers and sisters..but we need everyone to participate. We all know these are desperate times. Families are losing their homes, unable to pay for medicines, utility bills, even buy enough food for their kids! Those of us still working are asked to please share and care for each other.
Payments can be made by check, money order, or online. CHECK/MONEY ORDER: payable to "5 For the Fight" and mailed to the St. Louis Labor Council, 3301 Hollenberg Dr., Bridgeton, Mo 63044; ON LINE:www.labortribune.com (look for the $5 for the Fight Donations" in the left hand column, click there and it will take you to a secure donations page.)
